About

Growing up in a military family, I had the unique opportunity to live in Germany for four years, sparking my love for travel, culture, and the ways art, fashion, and history intersect. This exposure to different cultures shaped my worldview and inspired me to explore these elements in greater depth.

Living in three different U.S. states further honed my adaptability, teaching me to quickly adjust to new environments and connect with people from diverse backgrounds. These experiences have made me resilient and open to change—qualities that have been invaluable in my professional life. Whether working with diverse teams or navigating new challenges, my background has allowed me to approach situations with a flexible, innovative mindset and thrive in dynamic settings.

Academic Pursuits

I am currently pursuing a degree in Fashion Merchandising with a minor in Art History, gaining valuable insights into the fashion industry while deepening my appreciation for art's historical context. As I continue my studies, I plan to further my education by pursuing a Master's in Library Sciences, concentrating in archives.

I believe that preserving our cultural heritage is crucial, and I’m eager to contribute to this field by combining my passion for fashion, art, and archival work to help safeguard and share our history for future generations. A career as an archivist, either in the museum sector or for fashion companies, appeals to me as it would allow me to focus on preserving textiles and costumes.

These artifacts hold significant cultural stories and embody heritage and identity. By studying fashion history, we can gain a deeper understanding of the world around us and the journey that has shaped it. Fashion archives also play an essential role in forecasting trends, offering insights into the life cycles of fashion and serving as a source of inspiration for designers. Garments within these archives narrate the evolution of brands and their identities, while also providing a deeper understanding of the zeitgeist of their respective eras.
